There are a lot of titles out there, but here’s what we think is worth your time. Happy streaming!

1. Quantico season three (Sept. 2)

Priyanka Chopra, the future Mrs. Jonas, unfortunately had to say goodbye to her character Alex Parrish earlier this year when ABC cancelled Quantico. You can catch the third and final season on Netflix over Labor Day weekend.

2. Marvel Studios’ Black Panther (Sept. 4)

If you’re watching this film for the first time, you’ve been warned: Michael B. Jordan and Chadwick Boseman’s shirtless scenes will end you; Danai Gurira’s ability to slay anyone with her death stares (not to mention her battle moves) will inspire you; yes, that’s Trevor Noah’s voice you’re hearing about three quarters of the way into the movie.

3. Sierra Burgess Is a Loser (Sept. 7)

To all the viewers who fell in love with Peter Kavinsky from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, I have great news: Noah Centineo, who played Peter, is back with another Netflix teen rom-com, this time with Shannon Purser. The film, a modern-day version of the Cyrano de Bergerac story, finds our young leads in a silly case of mistaken identity, complete with fake text messages, photos, and even kisses. Yep.

4. Maniac (Sept. 21)

Courtesy of director bae Cary Fukunaga (True Detective season one; the best version of Jane Eyre), Maniac is based on the dark Norwegian TV series of the same name about two strangers who embark on a shady pharmaceutical trial. The US version stars Emma Stone and Jonah Hill as these strangers, along with Sonoya Mizuno (who most recently played Araminta Lee in Crazy Rich Asians) as a doctor. Justin Theroux, Jemima Kirke, and Sally Field also make appearances.

5. Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time (Sept. 25)

Oprah Winfrey leads a star-studded cast in Ava DuVernay’s big screen adaptation of the beloved 1962 novel of the same name about a little girl who goes on the journey of a lifetime to find her missing father. If Chris Pine as a dad isn’t enough to secure your interest, perhaps any of the following names will do the trick: Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
